StoneChefPortfolioChef Anthony’s lifetime of professional culinary experience led him to the creation of StoneChef Events and Catering. His vision has been to bring his passion for food out of the kitchen and make it the most important element of any successful event. In his StoneChef theatre, staid clichés of catering are not to be found, and the master Chef charged WebGoad with creating a new Web presence that captured the StoneChef brand. What resulted is a stunningly unique one page site, with interactive parallax foreground and background layers that are 100% stable; and, fully responsive across all platforms, including iOS mobile devices, Windows Phone and Android.

PauleiPortfolioA Seattle client retained WebGoad to develop the branding; and, all creative aspects needed for the launch of a new health & beauty product: Paulei Hand & Nail Moisturizer. The naming involved coining a six-character word, available as a Domain name, evoking femininity while keynoting a unique point of difference from other Moroccan Argan Oils on the market–the floral scent represented by the multi-cultural hint of the Lei as a second syllable. From this followed the design and development of the packaging; and, the Web site, which is fully integrated with Amazon fulfillment, Facebook and Twitter.  The entire Project was completing the on time and under budget for a very successful launch during the 2013 holidays.

afg300This innovative custom designed site for a major Miami art gallery launched in September 2013 required an in-depth understanding of their unique business model. With more than 700 individual artist portfolios, and thousands of images, a critical requirement was to permit frequent changes by the management. This was accommodated by a custom designed content management system allowing instant on-site editing. Without tabs or drop-down menus that often hide rich content, the gallery’s information is laid out in a series of boxes highlighting exhibitions, events, artist represented, and other features. Scroll bars, pop-up images, and rich video media can all be browsed by viewer in one place. Objective: Reflect the vibrant eclectic energy of this Chelsea Style gallery for new & emerging artists with a cutting edge design.

WebGoad recently completed an exciting project for a new special events venue in the Historic Ybor District of Tampa. Our challenge was to capture the character of  Tampa’s Latin Quarter with its exotic blend of aromas, flavors, sights and sounds.  We crafted images and text to tell the client’s story from the scent of Cuban coffee roasting for morning corporate meetings, through to the rhythms of the night, appealing to the vibes of  youthful clients for wedding receptions and catered parties.  The new venue marketed independently by the Web site, is actually an expansion of an established catering service with extensive adjoining facilities.  Understanding and finding the right balance graphically and editorially between the partnership and independence of the two businesses was an objective throughout the Web design and development.

Christopher and Gloria Nordstrom selected WebGoad to create a new Web site for their Start-up Ecommerce Web site to promote Gloria’s innovative design for Gloria’s Huggable Pillow.  After watching her Goddaughter play with her Dad’s iPad she was inspired. “I watched as she struggled to carry it with her and hold it up. Her little hands got tired very quickly holding up the heavy iPad. I also watched as her Dad cringed every time she moved it around, it was his second iPad after all. I knew then and there that there must be a better solution for all children that are tech savvy to use these wonderful products without having to hold them and risk hurting themselves or damaging the computer.”  The first objective of the site was to introduce this unique product to the marketplace; and, secondly, to provide a means for online purchases, and solicitation of other retail dealers. WebGoad recommended they consider using Amazon.com as another point of sales; and, as an order fulfillment facility for direct online sales from the Web site. GloHug.com’s message is simply If you, or one of your darlings have caused you to fear a cracked glass screen recently, GloHug is just what you have been looking for; and, you can buy it here.

So you just want to BLOG!  Maybe you will be the next Huffington Post.  What an honor it has been to explore the blogosphere with the intense intellect and serendipitous musings of William S. Geimer, Professor of Law Emeritus-Washington and Lee School of Law, B.S. 1962, East Tennessee State University; J.D. with honors, 1969, University of North Carolina; Order of the Coif; North Carolina Law Review.  The premise of his current, thoughtful and wonderfully humorous Blog is that many of us learn something in the news or read something in a newspaper that prompts us to fire off a Letter to the Editor. While he has a record of submitting 2-3 letters to the editor per year, he felt there was more that he would like to say.  WebGoad has helped him find that voice.
